1. Who we are

JMeterHub is operated by Mohamed Tarek Samir Hamdy. We provide the browser-based JMeter result analyzer at jmeterhub.com and are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: hello@jmeterhub.com.

2. Your result files stay in your browser

When you upload a .jtl file, it is parsed and analysed entirely in your browser. The raw file is never uploaded to us. If you are a Pro subscriber and choose to save an analysis or generate an AI conclusion, only the computed report — summary statistics, per-transaction metrics, error counts and time series — is transmitted and stored.

3. What we collect and why

  • Account data (email address, hashed login credentials or Google sign-in identifier): to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • Subscription status (plan, status, renewal date, purchase email): to give you access to Pro features. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • Saved analyses (analysis name, computed report data, AI conclusion text): to provide the saving, export and AI features you use. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • Support messages you send us: to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
  • Technical and security data (IP address, device and browser information, error logs): to keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and diagnose faults. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Payment card details are collected and processed by Paddle, not by us; we never see or store your card data.

4. AI processing

When you request an AI conclusion, the computed statistics of that analysis are sent to our AI provider to generate the text. Do not include personal data or confidential identifiers in transaction labels or analysis names.

5. Who we share data with

  • Hosting, database and authentication providers that run the Service on our behalf.
  • Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
  • AI model providers, for generating report conclusions when you request them.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where required by law.

We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

6. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as UK/EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

7. Retention

Account data and saved analyses are kept while your account is active, and deleted or anonymised within 30 days of account deletion. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Security and error logs are kept for up to 12 months.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or port your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. To exercise a right, email hello@jmeterhub.com — we respond within one month.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, encryption at rest with our database provider, row-level access controls so you can only read your own analyses, and server-side enforcement of subscription checks.

10. Cookies and local storage

We use only essential cookies and browser storage: your login session, your light/dark theme preference, and state needed for checkout. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear this data at any time from your browser settings, though doing so will sign you out.

11. Changes

We may update this notice. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
